Job Overview

CAE is seeking a dedicated Gulfstream GV Instructor Pilot to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping the next generation of aviation professionals by delivering high-quality simulator and ground school training that adheres to regulatory requirements, CAE's approved curriculum, and the highest customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive simulator, flight, and classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualification programs.
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to guide clients throughout their professional training journey.
  • Maintain accurate training records, manage qualification tracking, and provide recommendations for remedial training as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and courseware as required.
  • Work toward qualification as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman after approximately 1.5 years, based on business needs.
  • Perform physical duties as required, including navigating stairs, ladders, and confined spaces, as well as occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, an unrestricted ATP certificate and at least one unrestricted PIC Type Rating.
  • Strong passion for instructional excellence complemented by exceptional communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • Requirement to participate in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program.
  • Must be authorized to live and work in the United States.
  • Ability to meet physical role requirements, including mobility, prolonged standing or sitting, and occasional lifting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Gulfstream-rated or experienced pilot; preference given to candidates located in or near Las Vegas or those open to relocation to the American Southwest.
  • Proven experience operating business aircraft.
  • Previous training or instructional experience.
  • Capacity to tailor instruction to a diverse customer base while maintaining rigorous record-keeping standards.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and alignment with CAE's "red carpet" customer experience standards.
