E190/195 Captain Opportunity in Mongolia with Hunnu Air

Hunnu Air, a dynamic Mongolian airline established in 2011, is actively seeking qualified and experienced E190/195 Captains to join its growing team. This exciting opportunity offers an 18-month renewable contract, with positions commencing as early as January 2026.

Based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Hunnu Air is modernizing its fleet with Embraer E-Jets, including the advanced E195-E2, to enhance its domestic and regional operations, and expand international service. Position Overview

The role requires skilled Captains to operate the Embraer E190/195 aircraft. This is a contract position with a significant duration and the potential for renewal, offering stability and ongoing career development.

Key Requirements

Prospective candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Valid EASA, ICAO, or FAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • Valid E170/190 type rating.
  • An E2 difference rating will be considered advantageous.
  • Current and valid Medical Class 1 certificate.
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or above.
  • A minimum of 4,000 total flying hours.
  • Preferably, at least 1,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours on type (E190/195).
  • Last flight preferably within 3 months prior to reporting date.
  • Last simulator check preferably within 3 months prior to reporting date.

Contract Terms and Remuneration

Hunnu Air offers an attractive package for its contracted pilots:

  • Contract Length: 18 months, renewable.
  • Operating Base: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
  • Remuneration: Negotiable, commensurate with flying experience, plus overtime pay.
  • Optional Roster: Flexible options including 12 weeks ON / 4 weeks ON or 6 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF.
