Position Overview

Hunnu Air is seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals for the role of Captain (Pilot-in-Command) on the Embraer E190/195 fleet. This attractive, renewable 10-month contract opportunity is based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, with a preferred starting date as early as mid-November. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the carrier’s expansion and fleet enhancement initiatives.

Essential Candidate Requirements

Prospective Captains must meet the following mandatory qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by EASA, ICAO, or FAA.
  • Current and valid Type Rating for the Embraer E170/190 series.
  • Valid Medical Certificate Class 1.
  • English Language Proficiency (EPL) Level 4 or higher.
  • A minimum of 4,000 total flying hours.
  • A minimum of 1,500 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours specifically on the E190/195 type.
  • Recency: Date of last flight and last simulator check is preferably within three (3) months prior to the reporting date.
  • Candidates possessing E2 difference training will be highly regarded.

Contract Terms and Remuneration

This position offers a competitive package based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia:

  • Contract Length: 10 months, renewable based on performance and mutual agreement.
  • Operating Base: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
  • Monthly Block Hours: Up to 80 hours.
  • Remuneration: Highly competitive and negotiable, dependent upon the applicant’s level of flying experience, supplemented by applicable overtime pay.
  • Roster Options: Flexibility is offered with two optional roster patterns:
    • 12 weeks ON followed by 4 weeks OFF; or
    • 6 weeks ON followed by 2 weeks OFF.
  • Per Diem: Provided for all domestic and international flight duties.
