The organization seeks pilots with a current UK issued CAA Flight Crew Licence (ATPL(A), fATPL(A), or MPL) or an EASA license meeting specific UK CAA conversion requirements. Qualified candidates must have 3500 hours total time on a CS25 aircraft, including 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command on a CS25 aircraft. Candidates must possess the right to live and work in the UK or be able to hold a RTW visa, a height between 1.57m (5’2”) and 1.91m (6’3”), a good level of physical fitness, ICAO level 6 English proficiency, and a valid passport (minimum 12 months validity). A valid class one medical with a minimum of 6 months validity from the contract start is also necessary.
Applicants holding an EASA license and having previously held a UK Part-FCL license should provide proof of this within their application.
Please note that candidates who are unsuccessful in the initial screening, video interview, capacity testing or assessment centre may reapply after 6 months from their most recent assessment. Unsuccessful candidates at the SIM stage must wait 12 months before reapplying. Candidates may only apply to one airline within the British Airways family at a time. Long-haul suitability will be assessed during simulator assessment; however, A320 remains the primary recruiting fleet. Successful candidates will enter a hold pool and receive a maximum of 2 job offers. Declining the second offer will result in the candidate's removal from the hold pool.
