G650 Captain (Hong Kong Based)
The Flight Services team in Hong Kong is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced G650 Captain. Responsibilities:
The G650 Captain's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Verifying that all crew members are at their assigned stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibiting any crew member from performing non-essential duties during critical phases of flight (take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing).
- Preventing the disabling or erasure of flight data and cockpit voice recorders, unless necessary for incident/accident investigation and data conservation.
- Coordinating work distribution among the flight crew to foster excellent airmanship throughout the flight.
- Ensuring precise navigation and strict adherence to minimum safe altitudes.
- Observing the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring proper use and handling of the aircraft.
- Enforcing the rigorous use of checklists.
- Ensuring sufficient usable fuel remains to reach an alternate airport safely, maintaining final reserve fuel.
- Liaising closely with the cabin crew to ensure compliance with all cabin safety requirements.
- Ensuring the accurate and complete documentation of flight and technical logs.
- Filing written occurrence and accident reports when required.
- Maintaining comprehensive familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, company operations manuals (JBJH/JBJS), and accepted aviation practices.
- Upholding a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the company.
- Complying with the regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring all passengers receive comprehensive briefings on emergency exits, safety equipment location, and usage.
Qualifications:
Candidates for the G650 Captain position should possess:
- A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a G650 type rating (FAA, UK, or EASA).
- A minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, including at least 500 hours on the G650 or similar jet aircraft.
- Previous experience as a Captain on a business jet is preferred.
- Strong foundational knowledge of aircraft systems, aviation regulations, and safety protocols.
- Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
- Experience in international flight operations and flying in adverse weather conditions.
