Role Overview
Avelo Airlines is seeking a detail-oriented Flight Crew Support Specialist to join our mission of providing affordable, reliable, and convenient air travel. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that flight crew scheduling is optimized, compliant with safety regulations, and aligned with company requirements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our industry-leading reliability and service standards.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain flight crew schedules in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 117 and 121, company policies, and relevant labor contracts.

Monitor flight operations and crew duty times to ensure adherence to legal rest requirements, including Flight Duty Periods (FDPs) and minimum rest mandates.

Proactively manage schedule disruptions caused by weather, maintenance, or staffing absences, including the coordination of reserve crew and necessary travel logistics.

Facilitate clear and timely communication with flight crews regarding assignments and operational updates.

Utilize specialized scheduling software to manage assignments, track duty logs, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with dispatch, operations, and personnel departments to support seamless flight operations.

Maintain precise documentation regarding crew qualifications, duty times, and historical scheduling data.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in airline operations or a related field.

Comprehensive knowledge of FAR Parts 117 and 121, specifically regarding FDPs, rest requirements, and fatigue risk management.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard scheduling software.

Must be a U.S. citizen or possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications (X-Factors)

Familiarity with NAVBLUE or similar flight crew management systems.

Prior professional experience in Flight Attendant or Airport Operations roles.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $22 per hour.
