Ameriflight Seeks Experienced BE1900 Cargo Captain
Ameriflight, LLC, the nation's largest Part 135 Cargo airline and a leader in outsourced aviation services, seeks a skilled and experienced Captain to join its growing team operating the Beechcraft BE1900. Position Overview:
The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the BE1900 aircraft in accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures. The typical schedule involves five days of flying per week, with departures in the morning and returns in the evening. Lodging is provided at the outstation. Please note that schedules may vary depending on the specific base and flight assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism while operating the aircraft.
- Ensure compliance with all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures.
- Manage communication with Air Traffic Control and company dispatch.
- Supervise and mentor First Officers, fostering a collaborative and supportive cockpit environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for Pilot in Command (PIC) under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions.
- Minimum flight experience: 1,800 hours total time, 1,000 hours PIC, 500 hours cross-country (point-to-point), 250 hours multi-engine, 100 hours turbine, 100 hours instrument (50 in actual instrument conditions), and 100 hours night flying.
- Previous experience operating under FAR Part 121 or 135.
- Current Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) or 121/135 recurrent training within the past six months.
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with multi-engine land, instrument rating, high-performance, and complex endorsements.
- First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate (First Class required for international operations).
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and travel unrestricted both domestically and internationally.
- Ability to meet all airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check.
- Valid Driver's License and compliance with company insurance criteria.
- Current passport.
- English proficiency.
