About the Position
Ameriflight is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cargo Pilot to join its team. This vital position is outstation domiciled in San Angelo, TX (SJT), with scheduled operations to San Antonio (SAT). The successful candidate will perform four round trips per week, flying Monday through Thursday evenings with an overnight layover in San Antonio, returning the following morning. Hotel accommodation in San Antonio is provided by the company.

Requirements
Prospective Cargo Pilots must meet stringent qualifications to ensure operational excellence and compliance with federal regulations. Essential requirements include:
- Compliance with FAR 135.243(c) for Pilot in Command (PIC) in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions.
- A minimum of 1,800 hours Total Time (TT), 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC), 500 hours Cross-Country (XC) defined as point-to-point, 250 hours Multi-Engine, 100 hours Turbine, 100 hours Instrument (with at least 50 hours in aircraft), and 100 hours Night flight time.
- Strong preference will be given to candidates with previous multi-turbine PIC experience.
- Prior experience operating under FAR Part 121 or Part 135 is mandatory.
- An Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) or FAR 121/135 recurrent training completed within the past six months.
- Possession of a Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land, instrument rating, high performance, and complex endorsements.
- A First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate (a First Class Medical is required for international operations).
- A valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- A current passport.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted into and out of the U.S.
- Ability to meet airport badging requirements, including successful completion of a TSA Security background check.
- Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver’s License and adherence to all company insurance criteria.
