Position Overview
Ameriflight, LLC is actively seeking highly qualified and motivated aviation professionals to join its esteemed team as a Captain for the Beechcraft Be99 aircraft. This pivotal role involves critical cargo operations, ensuring the reliable and timely transport of goods across Ameriflight's extensive network.
Responsibilities and Schedule
- The Captain will serve as Pilot in Command of Beechcraft Be99 aircraft for dedicated cargo operations.
- Flights typically operate five days per week, with morning departures and evening returns.
- For operations requiring overnight stays, comfortable lodging is provided at the outstation.
- Specific schedules may be subject to variation based on assigned base and flight requirements.
Compensation
A competitive annual base salary of $76,503 is offered for this Captain position.
Location and Relocation
Candidates must demonstrate a willingness and ability to relocate anywhere within the United States. The initial 90-day period following training will involve serving in a floater role, providing flexibility and exposure to various operations. Upon successful completion of this 90-day line flying period, a permanent base will be assigned, necessitating relocation.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for the Captain, Beechcraft Be99 position, applicants must meet the stringent requirements outlined by Ameriflight and adhere to FAR 135.243(c) for Pilot in Command (PIC) under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions. Essential qualifications include:
- Minimum of 1,200 hours Total Time (TT).
- Minimum of 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Minimum of 500 hours Cross-Country (XC), defined as point-to-point flight time.
- Minimum of 50 hours Multi-Engine time.
- Minimum of 75 hours Instrument time, with at least 50 hours acquired in actual aircraft.
- Current Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) or a 121/135 recurrent check completed within the past six months.
- Possession of a Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land and instrument ratings, along with high performance and complex endorsements.
- A First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate is required, with a First Class Medical mandated for international operations.
- An FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- A current and valid Passport.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted into and out of the U.S.
- Ability to meet all airport badging requirements, including successful completion of a TSA Security background check.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and adherence to all company insurance criteria.
