Aviation Captain, EMB-120 Brasilia
A reputable Part 135 cargo airline is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Captain for its EMB-120 Brasilia fleet. This pivotal role involves operating critical cargo flights with precision and adherence to Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 135 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) of EMB-120 Brasilia aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations.
- Strictly adhere to all FAR Part 135 regulations, company operational policies, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrate exceptional airmanship, situational awareness, and decision-making capabilities, particularly in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for Pilot in Command (PIC) in IFR conditions.
- Possession of a current Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) or FAR Part 121/135 recurrent training completed within the last six (6) months.
- Demonstrable previous experience operating under FAR Part 121 or Part 135 regulations.
Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine Land: 500 hours
- Cross-Country (point-to-point): 500 hours
- Turbine Aircraft: 500 hours
- Instrument (including 50 hours in actual aircraft): 200 hours
- Night Flight: 100 hours
Operational Details
- Flights typically operate five (5) days per week.
- Daily schedules generally involve morning departures and evening returns.
- Comfortable lodging is provided at outstation locations for overnight stays.
