FAR Part 135 Cargo Airline Captain - San Angelo, TX (SJT)

A leading Part 135 cargo airline is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain to join its operational team. Position Details & Operations

The Captain will be domiciled in San Angelo, TX (SJT), operating scheduled routes to San Antonio, TX (SAT). The operational schedule comprises four round trips per week, conducted Monday through Thursday evenings. Each trip includes an overnight layover in San Antonio, TX, with the return flight scheduled for the following morning. Complimentary hotel accommodation is provided during layovers in San Antonio, TX.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Prospective candidates must meet or exceed the following stringent requirements:

• Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1,800 hours.
• Multi-Engine Land Time: A minimum of 250 hours.
• FAR 135.243(c) Compliance: Must satisfy all requirements for Pilot-in-Command (PIC) operations in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions.
• Specific Flight Hour Breakdown:
  • 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
  • 500 hours Cross-Country (XC), defined as point-to-point
  • 250 hours Multi-Engine
  • 100 hours Turbine
  • 100 hours Instrument (with at least 50 hours acquired in an aircraft)
  • 100 hours Night flight time
• Operational Experience: Prior experience operating under FAR Part 121 or FAR Part 135 regulations is mandatory.
• Preferred Experience: Previous Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience in multi-turbine aircraft is highly desirable.
