Captain - Beechcraft 99

Alpine Air is seeking experienced full-time Captains to join its flight operations team, piloting Beechcraft 99 aircraft. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high standard of excellence in safety, piloting skills, crew resource management, and customer relations. The position requires strong professional interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Captain is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

Operating aircraft in strict accordance with applicable regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
Prioritizing safety and providing excellent customer service.
Maintaining professional communication skills for complex internal and external aircraft communications.
Performing flight operations in varied conditions, including day, night, and all weather conditions.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications for the Captain position include:

BE99 Flight Time: 1100 Total Hours
Must possess Multi-Engine (ME), Instrument, and Commercial ratings.

General qualifications include:

Possesses a valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
Meets all Part 135 pilot requirements.
Successfully completes the required training program, demonstrating proficiency with job requirements.
Holds a valid driver's license.
Is able to read, write, and understand English fluently.
Demonstrates the ability to lift and move 70 lbs of cargo to shoulder height on a regular basis.
Is capable of frequent bending and squatting while practicing safe lifting methods.
Possesses excellent overall communication skills.
Is able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
A high school diploma is required, with a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.
Is required to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and receive U.S. Postal clearance.
Is eligible to work in the U.S. and has resided in the U.S. for 4.5 of the past 5 years.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this role, the Captain may be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, and heat. Work for this position is performed outdoors, regardless of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.

Compensation

This is a Full-Time position. First-year pilots can typically expect to earn $90,000 per year, utilizing compensation programs such as rate per route and per diem. Some Alpine Air pilots may earn substantially more than this figure. Compensation includes competitive benefits and a 401(k) plan with employer match. Generous Paid Time Off, eight (8) paid holidays per year, Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance are available immediately upon employment.
