Job Summary

American Patrols, Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated and accomplished pilot to join its esteemed aviation team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a pilot who thrives in low-level, Visual Flight Rules (VFR) environments and is eager to contribute to challenging and rewarding flight operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in patrolling the expanding oil fields of West Texas and Southeast New Mexico, utilizing a Cessna 172 aircraft. This is a full-time, non-management position committed to fostering career growth for its pilots.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct low-level VFR patrols over oil field territories.
• Operate a Cessna 172 with a high degree of proficiency and safety.
• Maintain exceptional situational awareness and stick-and-rudder skills, especially in challenging conditions.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and demonstrate a safety-oriented attitude.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 400 hours of total flight time.
• Commercial Pilot Certificate - Single-engine Land.
• Instrument Rating.
• Current and proficient in operating a Cessna 172.
• Demonstrated comfort and skill in high wind conditions and operating from small runways.
• Unwavering commitment to a fifteen-month contract.
• Immediate availability is essential.
• Previous commercial pilot experience is preferred.
• Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certification is highly preferred.
