Job Summary
The Commercial Patrol Pilot will conduct essential low-level, VFR patrol flights utilizing a Cessna 172 aircraft over designated areas within the oil fields of West Texas and Southeast New Mexico. This role demands a pilot who is proficient, safety-oriented, and capable of operating in diverse conditions, including high winds and small runways. Immediate availability is required, along with a firm commitment to a fifteen-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute low-level, Visual Flight Rules (VFR) patrol missions over designated territories.
- Operate a Cessna 172 aircraft with precision, maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate exceptional situational awareness and adhere strictly to all flight regulations and company safety protocols.
- Effectively navigate and operate aircraft in challenging environmental conditions, including high winds and operations from small runways.
Pilot Requirements
- Minimum of 400 hours total flight time.
- Valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Single-engine Land rating.
- Current FAA Instrument Rating.
- Demonstrated proficiency and currency in a Cessna 172 aircraft.
- Comfortable and experienced in operating in high wind conditions and from small runways.
- Possession of impeccable stick and rudder skills.
- A strong, safety-oriented attitude and a high level of situational awareness.
- Immediate availability for deployment.
Highly Desired Qualifications
- Previous Commercial Pilot experience in a similar operational environment.
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay rate of $23.00 per hour, which, with consistent flight time, equates to over $30,000 annually.
