First Officer Position – [Airline Name]
This role demands a highly skilled and experienced First Officer to conduct scheduled flights in strict accordance with the Company Operational Manual and all applicable Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations. The successful candidate will prioritize safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort, while exhibiting exceptional leadership and handling any emergency or unforeseen circumstances with professionalism and composure. This individual will act as the ultimate responsible party for the aircraft during their assigned flights, ensuring a positive corporate image is maintained at all times. Responsibilities include operating the aircraft to and from scheduled destinations as per approved flight plans and providing guidance and support to the flight and cabin crew.
Experience, Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
- Minimum 800 hours PIC experience on A320 family aircraft.
- Minimum 5000 hours total flight experience.
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate and Instrument Rating (IR).
- Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) – ATPL preferred.
- Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification, Level 4 or above.
- Successful completion of technical and psychometric assessments, and a pilot medical fitness check-up compliant with Company and CAA standards.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Training experience as a TRE, TRI, or LTC.
- Formal qualifications in safety and emergency response.
- Training in airport security procedures and regulations.
- Crew Resource Management (CRM) training.
- Familiarity with IATA security principles and standards.
- Proficiency in aircraft systems, Microsoft Office suite, internet and web search, technical report writing, and presentations.
Experience with low-cost airlines is desirable but not essential.
