Pilot
Job Purpose:
This role involves conducting assigned flights in strict accordance with the Company Operational Manual and all applicable regulations outlined by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The Pilot is responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency throughout every flight. They will provide guidance and support to both the flight and cabin crew, effectively handle emergencies and unexpected scenarios, and ultimately assume control of the flight to ensure successful performance and maintain a positive corporate image.
Responsibilities:
- Operate aircraft between designated destinations according to pre-defined schedules and approved flight plans.
- Assume full responsibility for the aircraft and its safe operation during assigned flights, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.
Experience, Qualifications, and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
- Minimum of 800 hours of PIC experience on A320 family aircraft.
- Minimum of 5,000 hours of total flying experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a Training, Evaluation, and Resource (TRE/TRI/LTC) Instructor.
- Valid aviation licenses, a valid Class 1 medical certificate, and a valid Instrument Rating (IR).
- Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification at Level 4 or above.
- A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is preferred.
- Successful completion of technical and psychometric assessments, as well as a medical fitness check-up for pilots, conforming to both Company and CAA standards.
- Demonstrated proficiency in aircraft systems and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet and web search tools, technical report writing, and presentation skills.
- Experience with low-cost airlines is desirable but not mandatory.
Highly Valued Qualifications:
- Formal qualifications in safety and emergency response.
- Training in basic airport, security procedures, and regulations.
- Crew Resource Management Training.
- Knowledge of International Air Transport Association (IATA) principles and standards related to security.
