Position Overview:
The King Air PIC plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our flight services in Alaska. The ideal candidate possesses a strong commitment to safety, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate exceptional proficiency as Pilot in Command.
- Maintain full compliance with FAR Part 135 and all other FAA regulations.
- Adhere to Aero Air manuals, directives, policies, and procedures in all flight operations.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance with Aero Air safety programs.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- Exemplify Aero Air's core values and standards of conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Multi-Engine Certificate.
- Meets FAA and CAMTS minimum requirements for the position.
- Minimum 6 months of demonstrable Alaska/Arctic or equivalent flying experience.
- Proven ability to maintain currency in assigned aircraft per FAR Part 135.
- Completion of factory-approved or equivalent ground and flight school for assigned aircraft.
- Current FAA first-class flight physical.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Unwavering commitment to Aero Air's mission, clients, and company values.
- Valid U.S./state issued driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4000 hours total flight time
- 2500 hours PIC
- 1500 hours multi-engine PIC
- 1000 hours turbine PIC
- 350 hours instrument time
- 350 hours night time
- Prior EMS pilot experience
