Position Summary
Jet Aviation is seeking a professional Captain to command the Gulfstream 550 in an elite private aviation environment. The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, providing leadership to the crew, and ensuring an exceptional experience for discerning clientele. The successful candidate will navigate domestic and global routes while upholding the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities

Take command of assigned flights, ensuring safety and compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to ensure precision operations and adaptability to changing flight conditions.

Perform duties as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the Twelve Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program.

Conduct passenger safety briefings and manage flight documentation and aircraft manuals in accordance with company procedures.

Represent the Jet Aviation brand as a trusted ambassador, demonstrating integrity, discretion, and excellence.

Report hazards, aircraft discrepancies, and safety issues promptly.
Required Qualifications

Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.

FAA First Class Medical.

Total fixed-wing time: 3,500 hours.

Pilot in Command time: 1,500 hours.

Multi-Engine time: 1,500 hours.

Turbo-Jet time: 500 hours.

Turbine time: 500 hours.

Night flight time: 100 hours.

Simulated Instrument time: 75 hours.

High school diploma.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications

College degree.

Relevant aircraft type rating and currency.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The role requires regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Candidates must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting, and maintain sharp vision across various ranges. The work environment varies from maintenance hangars to upscale customer spaces, involving exposure to noise, vibration, fuel fumes, and varying weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits
