Position Summary

Jet Aviation is seeking a professional pilot to join an established flight department operating Gulfstream aircraft. The successful candidate will command the skies as a crewmember, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft while providing an exceptional experience for discerning clientele. This role requires precision, leadership, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe conduct of flight operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all aircraft systems, including emergency systems and procedures.
  • Develop the leadership, technical ability, and judgment required for the PIC role.
  • Conduct mandatory passenger safety briefings.
  • Ensure compliance with all company reporting protocols and report hazardous events.
  • Represent the Jet Aviation brand with integrity, discretion, and professional dedication.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Pilot-in-Command.

Candidate Requirements

  • Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.
  • Flight Experience: 2,500 hours total fixed-wing time; 500 hours Pilot in Command; 500 hours Multi-Engine; 100 hours Turbo-Jet.
  • Education: High school diploma required (College degree preferred).
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Operational Readiness: Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current and appropriate aircraft type rating.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and industry leadership.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands; occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
  • Maintains visual acuity across various ranges and depths.
  • Operates in diverse environments, from maintenance hangars to upscale customer spaces, with exposure to variable noise levels, vibrations, fuel fumes, and seasonal temperature extremes.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, determined based on experience, location, and relevant considerations.
