Key Requirements for Aviation Professionals
- Flight Experience: A minimum of 1500 hours of flight time is required.
- Type Rating: A relevant type rating is mandatory for this role.
- License Qualifications: Candidates must hold a valid Frozen ATPL, Instrument Rating (IR), and Multi-Engine (ME) endorsement.
- License Issuance: Open to applicants holding a UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) license.
- Medical Certification: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is essential.
- English Language Proficiency: An ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 5 or higher is required.
- Flight Duty Period: The Flight Duty Period (LPC) must be valid at the commencement of employment.
- Work Authorization: Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom without any restrictions. Furthermore, the ability to obtain relevant US immigration/entry visas is a prerequisite for travel to and from the United States. A valid passport permitting unrestricted worldwide travel is also necessary.
- Standby and Flexibility: The successful candidate must be able to report for duty within 120 minutes when on standby. Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to working shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays, and overnights is crucial.
- Security Clearance: Candidates must successfully pass an airport security vetting procedure, which includes a comprehensive five-year background check.
