This exciting opportunity is based at London Heathrow (LHR) and aligns with SAS's new era of significant growth, including the launch of an expanded summer program in 2026 featuring new routes and destinations across Europe.
Pilots will operate within a modern Airbus A320neo fleet, experiencing a diverse range of operations from challenging Nordic winter conditions to managing busy international airspaces. Compensation and Benefits:
- Yearly Basic Salary: £101,490
- Expected Gross Annual Salary (including Duty Pay for 500 hours/year): £117,090
- Additional allowances provided

Key Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL Licence
- Current A320 type rating
- Minimum 4,000 hours Total Time
- Minimum 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on the A320
- Valid EASA Class One medical certificate
- ICAO Level 5 English Language Proficiency
- Last A320 flight within the previous 12 months
- No record of incidents or accidents
- Right to live and work in the UK is preferred
- EASA A320 TRI/TRE qualification is preferred
SAS Pilot Recruitment Process
Selected candidates will proceed through the following comprehensive recruitment stages:
- CV Screening: Thorough review of qualifications, licenses, and flight experience.
- Online Interview: A live interview conducted by a SAS recruiter.
- Online Tests: Cognitive and personality assessments.
- Assessment Days: Including group exercises, a simulator session, and a personal interview.
- Final Checks: Comprehensive background screening, personal security interview, and drug & alcohol testing.
Please note: Progression through each recruitment stage is conditional.
Successful candidates from the initial screening can anticipate invitations for assessment during November and December 2025, with employment commencement anticipated in March 2026.
