- Yearly Basic Salary: £101,490
- Expected Gross Annual Salary (incl. Duty Pay 500hrs/yr): £117,090

Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL Licence.
- Current and valid A320 type rating.
- Minimum 4,000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on the A320.
- Valid EASA Class One Medical Certificate.
- ICAO Level 5 English Language Proficiency.
- Last A320 flight within the preceding 12 months.
- An impeccable safety record with no reported incidents or accidents.
- Right to live and work in the UK is preferred.
- EASA A320 TRI/TRE qualification is preferred.
SAS Pilot Recruitment Process
The SAS Pilot Recruitment process is designed to identify top talent and comprises the following stages:
- CV Screening: Comprehensive review of qualifications, licenses, and flying experience.
- Online Interview: A live interview conducted by a recruiter.
- Online Tests: Cognitive and personality assessments to evaluate suitability.
- Assessment Days: Involving group exercises, a simulator session, and a personal interview.
- Final Checks: Including background screening, a personal security interview, and drug & alcohol testing.
Please note: Each stage of the recruitment process is a potential disqualifier.
Successful candidates from the initial screening can anticipate assessment invitations during November and December 2025, with employment commencing in March 2026.
