ACI Jet is a leading provider of private aviation services, operating under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Global XRS Captain to join our team. This position requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and unparalleled customer service while maintaining positive relationships with employees, vendors, and clients.
Position Summary:
The Global XRS Captain is responsible for safely and effectively operating aircraft under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations on behalf of ACI Jet's 135 Certificate. This role requires adherence to all regulatory and company procedures, meticulous attention to detail, and the provision of exceptional service to charter clients and owners. Relocation to the San Luis Obispo, California area is required for this position. Current Global aircraft experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ACI Jet aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all company rules and regulations, manufacturer limitations and manuals, governmental rules and regulations, and any other requirements from relevant agencies.
- Coordinate effectively with ACI Jet Flight Dispatch personnel to achieve flight operation goals and objectives in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Deliver unparalleled courtesy, professionalism, and customer service to ACI Jet Charter clients and aircraft owners.
- Ensure Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) are consistently updated with the latest navigation and application data.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable portions of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM).
- Thoroughly review and acknowledge revisions to the ACOM in a timely manner.
- Conduct proper preflight inspections before each takeoff, including but not limited to the aircraft, publications, documentation, equipment, passenger service items, fuel, weather conditions for all relevant airports (destination, en route, alternate, departure), customs requirements, permits, and airport/runway suitability.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 4,000 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 2,500 hours multi-engine time.
- Must possess a current and valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with an English proficient endorsement.
- BBD-700 Type Rating is preferred.
- Must be able to maintain a First Class Medical Certificate.
- Must be able to maintain a valid United States Passport.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 5-7 years of professional aviation experience.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Must be highly motivated and well-organized.
- Relocation to the San Luis Obispo, California area is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $225,000 - $275,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
