Pilot - Global XRS Captain (KSBP Based)

ACI Jet seeks a highly qualified Global XRS Captain to join its Flight Operations team based in San Luis Obispo, California. The Global XRS Captain is responsible for performing duties as a Part 91/135 aircraft pilot in a safe and effective manner. This position involves operating applicable aircraft on behalf of ACI Jet’s 135 Certificate while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with employees, vendors, and clients. Relocation to the San Luis Obispo, California area is required. Current Global experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates ACI Jet aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company rules and regulations, manufacturer limitations and manuals, governmental rules and regulations, and requirements from agencies with jurisdiction over the flight.
- Coordinates with ACI Jet Flight Dispatch personnel to ensure flight operations goals and objectives are met in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Provides exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and customer service to ACI Jet Charter clients and owners.
- Ensures Electronic Flight Bag(s) (EFB) are current with the latest navigation and application data.
- Maintains knowledge of the applicable portions of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM).
- Reviews and acknowledges revisions to the ACOM in a timely manner.
- Ensures a thorough preflight inspection is accomplished before takeoff, covering the aircraft, publications, documentation, equipment, passenger service items, fuel, weather conditions at departure, en route, alternate airports, destination, customs, permits, and airport/runway suitability.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time, with a minimum of 2,500 hours in multi-engine aircraft.
- Possesses a current and valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with an English proficient endorsement.
- BBD-700 Type Rating is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a First Class Medical Certificate.
- Ability to maintain a valid United States Passport.
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or possesses 5-7 years of professional aviation experience.
- Capable of working effectively as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated and organized.
Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary range of $225,000 - $275,000 per year, dependent on experience (DOE). A comprehensive benefits package includes full medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k matching, paid time off, flying club benefits, and support for continuing education.
