Job Description
The Challenger 605 Captain will operate Part 91/135 aircraft for ACI Jet's 135 Certificate, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, providing unparalleled courtesy and professionalism to clients and owners. The successful candidate will report directly to the Account Lead Captain (Aircraft and Crew Manager - ACM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safe and efficient aircraft operations in compliance with all company rules and regulations, manufacturer's limitations and manuals, governmental regulations, and other relevant agency requirements.
- Coordinate with ACI Jet Flight Dispatch personnel to achieve flight operation goals and objectives in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ACI Jet Charter clients and owners.
- Maintain up-to-date Electronic Flight Bag(s) (EFB) with the latest navigation and application dates.
- Stay knowledgeable of the applicable portions of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM).
- Conduct thorough preflight inspections of the aircraft, publications, documentation, equipment, passenger service items, fuel, weather conditions (destination, enroute, alternate airports, and departure points), customs, permits, and airport/runway suitability.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3,500 hours total time.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours PIC.
- Minimum of 2,500 hours multi-engine.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours multi-engine PIC.
- Minimum of 250 hours instrument.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours turbine.
- CL-604 Type Rating highly desired.
- Current and valid Pilot's Certificate with an English proficient endorsement.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I, Section 2.1.10 requirements.
- Valid ATP rating.
- Ability to maintain a First Class Medical.
- Valid United States Passport.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 3-5 years of professional aviation experience.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to reside within 90 minutes of Monterey Regional Airport (KMRY).
- Highly motivated and organized.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from $200,000.00 to $250,000.00 per year, dependent on experience.
