Cabin Attendant, Global 5500
Location: Farmingdale, NY (KFRG)
Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cabin Attendant for a full-time position supporting a Part 91 Global 5500 based in Farmingdale, NY (KFRG). This role is critical to delivering an exceptional and legendary cabin experience for Clay Lacy clientele while strictly upholding the highest safety standards. The Cabin Attendant is responsible for the overall management and operation of cabin services, ensuring seamless efficiency, meticulous inventory management, and preparing the aircraft to the owner's precise preferences.
This position is based in Farmingdale, NY, and is not a commutable position. The aircraft typically operates approximately 250 flight hours annually.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict compliance with all aviation safety regulations and protocols while providing unparalleled service to passengers.
- Cultivate and maintain in-depth knowledge of the owner’s specific food preferences, dietary needs, allergies, and other personalized requests.
- Regularly update passenger profiles and diligently maintain accurate aircraft inventory records.
- Organize and maintain owner lockers, cages, and office spaces; ensure all aircraft bedding, cabin supplies, and equipment are accounted for and well-maintained.
- Conduct routine inventory checks to ensure the quality, consistency, and readiness of all cabin supplies.
- Meticulously prepare the aircraft with necessary amenities, catering, and special requests, ensuring the cabin is immaculate and all items are current and correctly placed before each flight.
- Source, shop for, and stock the aircraft according to the owner’s requests and preferred items, managing supply rotation and replacement as needed.
- Proactively identify and address any issues related to the aircraft’s cabin wear and tear, coordinating effectively with the Pilot in Command (PIC) or the appropriate maintenance department.
- Safely facilitate the offloading and on-loading of aircraft items during scheduled maintenance events or as required.
- Prepare the aircraft to meet the highest standards for showings to potential charter clients.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the owner’s schedule, adapting promptly to changes in flight itineraries.
- Maintain continuous and clear communication with In-Flight Services management to ensure smooth operations and robust support.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience on large cabin private or corporate jets under Part 91 and/or Part 135 operations is required.
- Must currently reside within a two-hour drivable commute to Farmingdale, NY (KFRG). This is not a commutable position.
- Ability to comply with all safety requirements necessary to perform the job safely.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients at all times.
- Ability to make decisions with multiple objectives and implement them in a safe, efficient manner.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions; plan and complete assigned duties on a regular schedule; and maintain good working relationships with others.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including day, night, weekends, and holidays, as schedules are subject to change.
- Must be available to be “on-call” unless on a scheduled day off.
- Ability to work without direct management supervision.
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to reason, analyze, and solve problems.
- Must be able to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Food Handler Certification.
- Must possess and maintain a valid passport.
- Completion of Emergency Training, including CPR/First Aid, from an approved training facility within the past 12 months is required.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Completion of Clay Lacy Aviation and other job-related training as required.
Travel Expectations:
Travel includes prolonged overnight stays in both domestic and international locations.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
