Aero Air is actively seeking experienced and highly skilled Aerial Firefighting Tanker Pilots to fulfill both Pilot in Command (PIC) and Second in Command (SIC) roles. These full-time positions are primarily based remotely within Oregon, offering a distinctive opportunity to contribute significantly to critical national and global firefighting efforts. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating MD-87 aircraft, playing a vital role in the protection of communities and invaluable natural resources.

Pilots in these roles will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of MD-87 aircraft within demanding aerial firefighting environments. This encompasses rigorous adherence to all USFS regulations, company policies, and aviation safety standards. Specific duties involve comprehensive pre-flight preparations, precise in-flight navigation and operational execution, diligent post-flight procedures, and active participation in ongoing training and debriefings to maintain peak operational readiness.
