Jet Aviation Staffing, a leader in aviation recruitment since 1983, is seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for the LR-60 aircraft on behalf of its esteemed client. This role is integral to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft under FAR Part 135 regulations. The PIC holds ultimate responsibility for the well-being of passengers, crew, aircraft, and cargo, exercising final authority over all flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate the LR-60 aircraft in accordance with FAR Part 135 standards.
  • Maintain strict operational control, ensuring all flights adhere to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify aircraft airworthiness, conduct thorough flight planning, review meteorological data, and ensure compliance with fuel planning and weight and balance limitations.
  • Perform or supervise pre-flight inspections and deliver essential passenger briefings.
  • Operate the aircraft within all established limitations and company standards.
  • Execute post-flight duties, including the meticulous completion of flight records, reporting any discrepancies, and updating relevant flight tracking systems (e.g., Fl3xx).
  • Actively engage in the Safety Management System (SMS), reporting any safety or security concerns as mandated.
  • Maintain current certifications and proficiency in the assigned LR-60 aircraft.

Qualifications

  • Pilot in Command (PIC): Minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
  • 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • Of the PIC hours, a minimum of 500 hours must be in multi-engine jet aircraft.
  • At least 200 hours of flight time in the LR-60 type aircraft is required.
  • Must meet all current FAR Part 135 and applicable company qualification requirements.

Additional duties may be assigned based on evolving operational requirements.

Schedule

  • Commutable schedule: 8 days on duty followed by 6 days off.

Compensation Data

The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 annually. This figure serves as an estimate and is not a guarantee of compensation. Actual salary will be determined based on factors including candidate experience, geographic location, and other relevant qualifications.
