Job Summary
The First Officer is responsible for ensuring safe, professional, and timely flight operations in full compliance with Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR). This role requires a commitment to safety, superior customer service, and the ability to operate aircraft efficiently during varying schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Core Responsibilities

Execute flight operations safely and punctually in accordance with FAR and Company protocols.

Maintain command of the aircraft during assigned duty periods unless relieved by authorized personnel.

Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the airworthy condition of the aircraft.

Analyze departure, arrival, and alternate station weather forecasts prior to each flight.

Oversee proper flight planning and fuel management to ensure operational safety.

Coordinate the handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo at terminal points, ensuring on-time departures.

Communicate effectively with crew and passengers regarding turbulence, adverse weather, or operational status updates.

Verify load manifests and confirm passenger counts prior to every departure.
Requirements and Qualifications

ATP Certificate.
-
1,500 hours total flight time (2,500 hours preferred).

750 hours multi-engine fixed-wing experience.

500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) experience.

500 hours jet/turboprop experience.

Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.

FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.

Valid US passport (machine-readable) or a valid foreign passport with legal authorization to work in the United States.

Ability to travel internationally to all destinations served by Frontier Airlines.

Must be willing to relocate.

Commitment to a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, holidays, and overnight "red-eye" operations.

Ability to maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance.

Must successfully pass pre-employment drug testing and background investigations.

Experience with Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS) and Flight Management Systems (FMS) is preferred.

Proficiency required with aircraft controls, navigation charts, company manuals, iPads/tablets, and standard office equipment.

Moderate physical activity is required, including the ability to handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
