Summary and Objective:
The Second In Command (SIC) reports administratively to the Chief Pilot and to the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during flight. The SIC assists the PIC in preparing for and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Ensuring safe and efficient flight operations for domestic trip assignments under Part 135 regulations, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Adhering to all duties and responsibilities outlined in company procedures manuals.
- Maintaining a current first-class medical certificate and notifying the company of any medical conditions that may impair flight duties.
- Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and demonstrating the ability to coordinate and lead the crew.
- Greeting passengers, assisting with seating, and managing luggage storage.
- Conducting passenger briefings and addressing passenger requests and needs.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal/written, and presentation skills.
- Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, email, web-based, and mobile device applications.
- Passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to present a well-groomed appearance at all times, adhering to company standards.
- ATP certification complete.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- At least 2,000 hours of total time (fixed wing).
- At least 250 hours of multi-engine time.
- Valid Passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Appropriate Type Rating.
- This position is classified as a Safety-Sensitive role under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and is subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with FAA guidelines.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and provide two forms of Federal Identification.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check prior to employment, including verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and other relevant information.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- ATP certification complete.
- At least 2500 hours of total time (fixed wing).
- At least 500 hours of multi-engine time.
- Type rating in a Challenger or Regional Jet.
