Second in Command (SIC) - Gulfstream G200 Pilot

Jet Linx is actively seeking highly qualified Second in Command candidates to join their team operating a Super Midsize jet aircraft for Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The successful candidate is expected to reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call out time of their assigned home base in Albuquerque, NM.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Second in Command (SIC) plays a crucial role in preparing and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. This is accomplished in strict accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Managing duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with both company requirements and Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintaining consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and the submission of pre- and post-flight reports.
- Effectively maintaining and managing Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensuring that all necessary navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily available.
- Maintaining a current First Class medical certificate.
- Demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making skills throughout all operational phases.
- Embodying and demonstrating Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 1500 hours
- Total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 100 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 150 hours
Other Requirements
- Possession of an Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is required.
- A current First Class Medical certificate is mandatory.
- An FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit is required.
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
- Possession of a current passport is necessary for international travel.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to random drug/alcohol testing protocols when required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all European Union, Canadian, and Caribbean countries is required.
- Ability to authorize and successfully pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- The majority of work is performed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed for team members. The starting base annual salary for this Second in Command position typically ranges from $124,000 to $160,000. The actual base salary offered is dependent upon factors including geographic location, aircraft size (relevant to crew position), and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
