Role Overview:
FlyHouse seeks a highly motivated and experienced Gulfstream V (GV) First Officer to join its dynamic team in Van Nuys, CA. This pivotal role involves supporting the Captain in all aspects of flight operations, ensuring the delivery of a premier aviation experience while upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and service. The First Officer will play a critical role in redefining private jet management through dedication to excellence and collaborative cockpit decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
The Gulfstream V First Officer is responsible for:
- Operating GV aircraft in strict accordance with FAA regulations, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and industry best practices.
- Supporting the Captain through all phases of flight operations, including comprehensive pre-flight planning, thorough briefings, checklist execution, and accurate post-flight documentation.
- Ensuring the highest level of passenger safety, comfort, and exceptional service throughout the flight experience.
- Maintaining full compliance with all required licenses, certificates, and medical standards.
- Remaining current on applicable aviation regulations and FlyHouse operating procedures.
- Serving as a professional ambassador for FlyHouse, consistently upholding the company's commitment to professionalism and operational excellence.
- Contributing actively to collaborative cockpit decision-making processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates for the Gulfstream V First Officer position should possess:
- A minimum of 1,500 hours Total Flight Time.
- At least 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- A minimum of 500 hours Multi-Engine time.
- At least 50 hours Multi-Engine PIC time.
- A current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- An FAA ATP Certificate (preferred).
- A Gulfstream V (GV) Type Rating (preferred; significant consideration will be given to type-rated candidates with relevant experience).
- A clean safety record demonstrating a steadfast commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Flexibility to accommodate varied schedules, including both domestic and international travel requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for delivering premium service.
