First Officer - Flight Operations
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated First Officer to join our esteemed Flight Operations department. Reporting directly to the Chief Pilot, this pivotal role contributes significantly to the safety and efficiency of our flight operations.
Position Purpose
The First Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft. This position involves assisting the Captain and flight crew by rigorously applying Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and meticulously following company policies and procedures. The First Officer is instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight inspections of the aircraft and associated freight, ensuring airworthiness and compliance.
- Support the flight crew with all required documentation and administrative tasks to facilitate smooth operations.
- Execute flight operations with unwavering precision, strictly adhering to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Proactively identify and report any unsafe conditions, whether on the ground or in-flight, to maintain the highest safety standards.
- Perform thorough post-flight inspections of the aircraft, confirming its secure and proper state after each mission.
Education and Experience
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required; post-secondary education is highly preferred.
- While not mandatory, prior experience operating under Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 121 is advantageous.
Language Skills
The ability to fluently read, write, and comprehend spoken and written English is essential, along with the capacity to prepare routine reports and professional correspondence.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Possession of a valid FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate or a Restricted Multi-Engine Airline Pilot Certificate.
- A minimum of 2500 hours of total flight time is required, with 4000 hours preferred. For military applicants, a minimum of 1000 hours total time is acceptable, with flexibility on turbine and Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time.
- At least 1500 hours of turbine (jet) flight time.
- A minimum of 500 hours of Pilot-In-Command (PIC) turbine (jet) flight time.
- A current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- A valid FCC Radio License.
- No restrictions on international travel.
- A current U.S. Passport.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Successful completion of a 10-year security background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
Physical Demands

Work Environment
