Job Summary
NetJets Aviation, Inc. is seeking a qualified Pilot (First Officer) to join its team in the South Central Region. The Pilot is responsible for ensuring a superior air transportation experience with an unwavering commitment to safety. This role involves providing technically accurate and safe transportation while also delivering an exceptional service experience to NetJets Owners and passengers. The Pilot is expected to perform a range of duties, from professional aviation to in-flight service, acting as the ultimate authority of the aircraft and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOP's).
- Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, provide introductions, brief them on the flight, verify itinerary, and offer weather updates and safety briefings.
- Deliver in-flight service, including the handling of alcohol and catering.
- Load and properly stow all baggage on the aircraft.
- Accommodate flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
- Act as the final authority on the aircraft concerning all operational areas, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidance.
- Serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until safe departure from the final FBO.
- Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Company via the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller.
- Complete all required paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certifications and Licenses
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP).
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.
- Valid United States passport.
- Valid State driver's license.
Experience and Skills

FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating as follows (IAW 61.160):
- At least 21 years of age.
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience.
- 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification.
- 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
- ATP written completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training.
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Must be able to work varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Must demonstrate extreme flexibility and the ability to adjust to rapid changes.
- Must be able to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty at all times.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Must pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and demonstrated ability to make a positive impression, including strong capability to interact effectively with passengers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to work around animals, including handling and care prior to, during, and after Owner flights.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range: $86,015 - $117,706
