Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
Prospective applicants must meet the following mandatory operational and professional criteria:
- A minimum age of 18 years or over.
- Possession of a high school degree (or equivalent).
- Fluency, both written and spoken, in the English language.
- Ability to swim proficiently.
- Required arm reach of 210 cm while standing on tiptoes.
- Possession of a valid passport without limitations (minimum validity of 6 months).
- Possession of the valid right to live and work in the country of the applied base.
- Specific Requirement for Bulgarian Base Applicants: Must hold an EU Passport or EU Residence card allowing the right to work in Bulgaria without employer sponsorship. (Note: Other permits such as Work or Student residency are not accepted.)
- Must live or be prepared to relocate within a 60-minute commuting distance of the chosen base, prepared to make this journey upon work schedule.
- Absence of visible tattoos and/or piercings on any part of the body that is not covered by the standard uniform.
- Must be an enthusiastic individual who excels at working collaboratively with the public and colleagues.
- Note: Candidates requiring vision correction (glasses or contact lenses) with a prescription above +4 or below -4 are advised that they may be unlikely to pass the mandatory aviation medical examination.
