WestJet Encore invites applications for a skilled and dedicated First Officer to join its flight operations team in Calgary, AB. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a leading Canadian airline known for its admired corporate culture and commitment to guest experience. First Officers at WestJet Encore provide safe and efficient air travel across an expansive network, operating a fleet of state-of-the-art De Havilland Dash 8-400 (Q400) turboprop aircraft. This role requires team-oriented individuals who will provide leadership to flight crews and serve as a brand ambassador for WestJet's corporate values.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who exceed the minimum qualifications and experience, including but not limited to:

Pilot-in-Command Under Supervision (PICUS) Program

WestJet Encore proudly supports a PICUS program, enabling First Officers holding a CPL to accrue valuable PICUS flight time and experience. First Officers may log 200 hours in an Encore aircraft, with a maximum credit of 100 hours PICUS towards Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) requirements, as detailed in CAR 421.11.
