Voyageur Aviation Corp. is seeking a First Officer (King Air) to join its Flight Operations team. Reporting to the Director, Flight Operations, this position will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Beechcraft King Air 200 fleet at the company's Air Ambulance base in Grand Manan. This role offers the opportunity to work on Canada's beautiful east coast.
The First Officer will operate as Second-in-Command, providing support to the Pilot-in-Command. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to operational control parameters throughout flights, maintaining on-time performance, accomplishing flight objectives, and ensuring the safety and security of passengers, crew, aircraft, and cargo. The First Officer will liaise with the Pilot-in-Command, Voyageur’s Dispatch, ATC, FSS, and customers; ensuring all necessary maps, charts, and navigation equipment are readily available on the aircraft. They will maintain qualifications required to crew BE20 aircraft, actively participate in safety briefings, and utilize Voyageur’s Safety and Risk Management system. They will adhere to all company policies, procedures, air regulations, and standard operating procedures, and complete all required operational paperwork.
Candidates must possess a valid CPL with IATRA or ATPL, a minimum of 250 hours total time, and a minimum of 50 hours of multi-engine experience. Previous Garmin 1000 and/or EFIS experience is considered an asset. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and possess excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written. They must be willing to work a flexible rotation schedule and commute to or relocate to New Brunswick.
While previous experience is not mandatory, individuals with transferable skills as a pilot, first officer, or in aviation are encouraged to apply.
