Flight Attendant
United Airlines is seeking dedicated and service-oriented individuals to join its team as Flight Attendants. Qualifications and Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.

High school graduate or GED; 2 or more years of college preferred.

At least one year of customer service experience in the service industry (e.g., retail, hospitality, food, teaching, aviation, social service).

Ability to speak in a clear, concise, and organized manner, audible in emergency situations.

Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding).

Must be able to read and speak Hebrew fluently.

Ability to hear all types and ranges of sound.

Ability to communicate effectively in high-stress situations.
-
Professional appearance and willingness to adhere to uniform, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines.

Tattoos are NOT permitted on the head, hands, fingers, or neck. Visible tattoos on arms, wrists, legs, and feet must not be larger than a credit card and must not be offensive.

Decorative covers, adornments, and/or jewelry on teeth or in the mouth are not permitted.

Must possess a valid passport with at least 18 months of remaining validity at the time of application.

Current physical possession of a valid U.S. passport book or foreign passport book with applicable visas and eligibility to travel globally without restrictions.

Ability to travel to and from all countries United serves without restrictions.

Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stretch, reach, lift heavy objects, and push/pull beverage carts (up to 250 lbs.).

Ability to pass a functional reach assessment.
-
Ability to sit in an assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
-
Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule in support of United's 24/7 operation.

Must successfully complete an evacuation drill in the water during training.

Must be willing to complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, and vision/hearing tests.

Must be able to pass DOT/FAA pre-employment and randomized drug screens. Medical and recreational marijuana is prohibited.

Must be able to pass a 10-year background check, including criminal background history, and have a background that does not prohibit travel to any country United serves.

Must meet Federal Aviation Administration and United Airlines hearing and vision requirements.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly flight pay of $28.88/hour, with top of base scale at $67.11/hour.

Seniority-based pay increases.

Additional compensation for language skills, lead positions, and international trips.

Bonus eligible position (profit sharing).

During training: $140/week stipend, dual occupancy hotel accommodations, breakfast, and one additional meal per day.
