Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)

Top Aces is seeking skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT) specializing in Airframe, Avionics, or Structural disciplines. The AMT is a dedicated working member of a maintenance crew, reporting to an Aircraft Certifying Authority (ACA), Crew Chief, or associated Lead. This role requires proficiency in utilizing the correct tools, methods, techniques, and equipment essential for comprehensive aircraft maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs maintenance work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and approved technical data.
- Identifies and orders necessary aircraft parts.
- Executes required computer entries and functions related to maintenance activities.
- Signs for the performance and completion of assigned tasks.
- Ensures strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintains personal training and certification records accurately.
- Promptly raises any issues that could potentially jeopardize production schedules or aircraft airworthiness.
- Ensures compliance with all airworthiness and safety policies, processes, and standards.
- Maintains a safe and organized workplace environment.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Completion of a Transport Canada Accepted Aircraft Maintenance Training course or an Accredited Course is required.
- Ability to work effectively independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience on commercial or military aircraft is considered an asset.
- Capable of working on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative, and specialized technical knowledge.
- Proven ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both English and French.

- Experience in Line Maintenance within a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform all work in support of corporate values.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 70 lbs.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime and shift work, dictated by flight operations.
- May be required to perform duties outdoors.
- Travel is required for this position.
- International travel may also be necessary.

Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires Level 2 Security Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
