Gulfstream G650 and Gulfstream G700 Flight Attendant
Solairus Aviation seeks a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Flight Attendant to join their team based in Monterey, California (KMRY). This individual will provide superior service to passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout all phases of flight. The ideal candidate is a flexible team player with a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional, personalized service to clients, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort.
- Direct and assist passengers in emergency situations.
- Administer basic first aid, including CPR, AED, and general first aid, to passengers in need.
- Secure the cabin in compliance with federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
- Provide reassurance to passengers during turbulence or other unusual circumstances.
- Conduct pre-flight briefings.
- Ensure adequate onboard supplies, including food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, and emergency equipment.
- Procure items specially requested by passengers.
- Maintain cabin cleanliness and organization, including the galley, lavatories, and flight deck, after each flight segment.
- Perform regular cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and cleanliness.
- Complete all necessary pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.
- Operate audio and video systems.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Current First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Completion of flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar provider preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory. Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered but must complete initial training before a flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates with training completed within the past 12 months.
- Proficiency in technology.
- Exceptional flexibility and patience.
- Demonstrated culinary skills and formal culinary training.
- Ability to manage a variable schedule and accommodate late-night flights.
- Availability for short-notice flights (2-3 hour response when on standby).
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally (health and visa status considered).
- Ability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.
- Proficient operation of Cabin Management Systems, galley equipment, and all cabin features, including berthing seats and converting the divan to a bed.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- College degree preferred.
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages preferred.
- Experience with small children preferred.
Specific Qualifications/Certifications:
- Vision corrected to 20/20 or better; uncorrected vision no worse than 20/20. Must be able to read reports, charts, and use electronic devices.
- Clear speaking ability and adequate hearing to communicate effectively via phone and in person with clients, co-workers, and pilots, including during flight.
- Physical capability to stand and walk without assistance for extended periods (up to 14 hours with limited sitting) and work in various climates.
- Ability to kneel, bend, and maneuver in tight spaces within the aircraft.
- Strength to open and close the main cabin door (weighing up to 130 pounds) and lift supplies (25-30 pounds) from floor level to waist height repeatedly. Ability to write, type, and use a computer and phone, and prepare/serve food and beverages.
