Based at KCRQ in Carlsbad, California, the flight department emphasizes continuous improvement and operational excellence. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Pilot.

Flight Duties:
- Pilot the aircraft and manage all aspects of the flight when serving as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Ensure the safety and effectiveness of each flight, adhering to Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and Qualcomm's Flight Operations Manual (FOM).
- Collaborate with Scheduling to assess potential risks and make necessary adjustments to maintain the highest possible safety standards.
- Conduct thorough research of all pertinent data for flight planning and anticipate passenger requirements, ensuring all needs and contingencies are addressed.
- Maintain current knowledge of new procedures, policies, requirements, and FAA and ICAO regulations.
- Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS), contributing to a robust safety culture.
- Complete all post-flight duties, including administrative tasks and reporting relevant information to maintenance personnel.

- Complete assigned ancillary duties and projects in a timely manner.
- Contribute expertise to enhance department manuals, policies, and procedures.

- Establish and maintain positive relationships with external individuals and parties to expand knowledge and facilitate departmental growth.
Job Conditions:
- Work environment includes aircraft flight deck, office environment, and various domestic and international locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with multi-engine rating and at least one jet type rating.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Captain within an FAR Part 91, 121, or 135 operation, or equivalent military experience.
- Currently qualified as Pilot-in-Command in a multi-engine business jet or equivalent aircraft with:
- 4000 hours total flying time.
- 2000 hours turbojet aircraft time.
- 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command time (1,000 of which is in turbojet aircraft).
- Proficiency with Automated Cockpit EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument System).
- Experience with FMS (Flight Management System).
Requirements:
- No history of aircraft accidents or incidents or provision of a comprehensive explanation of circumstances.
- No past or pending FAA violations or provision of a comprehensive explanation of circumstances.
- Ability to present all logbooks, licenses, and medical certificate for inspection.
Education Preference:
- Four-year college degree desirable.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is \$236,000.00 - \$354,000.00. Total compensation includes a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and eligibility for annual RSU grants. Furthermore, Qualcomm offers a comprehensive benefits package. Further details will be provided by your recruiter.
