Pilot in Command – Gulfstream G650

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 650 aircraft based in Stuart, Florida (KSUA). This position is part of a three-pilot team, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant, operating under Part 91 regulations. The PIC is ultimately responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering an exceptional service experience.

This role involves supporting a family with a long history of aircraft ownership. The travel footprint is predominantly domestic, with occasional international trips (one to two per year). While there is no fixed schedule, the three-pilot rotation allows for a healthy work-life balance. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, service-oriented, a dedicated team player, and possess a high degree of attention to detail.

This is not a home-based position. Candidates must either reside in the South Florida area or be willing to relocate. Applicants must possess a type rating in one of the following Gulfstream heavy-cabin models: GV, GVI, or GVII. Preference will be given to candidates with a GVII type rating.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of prior experience in corporate/business aviation is required.
  • Must hold a FAA Type rating in applicable fleet (GV, GVI or GVII).
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position.
  • Total flight time: 3,500 hours.
  • Multi-Engine Land: 1,500 hours.
  • Pilot in Command: 2,000 hours.
  • PIC Multi-Engine Land: 500 hours.
  • Instrument: 300 hours.
  • Jet: 500 hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
  • FAA Type rating in applicable fleet - GVII.
