Solairus Aviation is seeking a qualified Gulfstream G650ER Captain for a full-time position based at San Jose, CA (KSJC). The Captain will ensure the safe, compliant, and professional operation of G650ER flights, encompassing all aspects from flight planning to passenger and crew welfare.

About the Role

The Gulfstream G650ER Captain is entrusted with the paramount responsibility for the safe conduct of all flights, adhering strictly to Solairus Aviation procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Key duties include meticulous aircraft preparation, comprehensive route and airport planning, ensuring the safety of passengers and crew, maintaining regulatory compliance, and accurate completion of all required trip documentation. This role also involves reviewing aircraft maintenance status, conducting pre-flight inspections, verifying weather and facility information, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
• Minimum of 1,500 hours of Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum of 1,500 hours of multi-engine (MEL) time.
• Minimum of 500 hours of MEL PIC time.
• Minimum of 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• Minimum of 250 hours of instrument flight time.
• Must hold a type rating for the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft.
• Must possess a current first-class medical certificate.
• Must be able to complete annual ICAO International Procedures Training.
• Must reside within a two-hour drive of KSJC or be willing to relocate.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis.

Qualifications

• Gulfstream G650ER or comparable aircraft type rating.
• First-class medical certificate.
• Annual ICAO International Procedures Training completion.
