Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Captain for a Gulfstream G650ER aircraft, based at Addison, Texas (KADS). This role involves pilot-in-command responsibility for the safe and lawful operation of the aircraft, ensuring business aviation trips are conducted to the highest standards of safety, service, and integrity.
About the Role
The Captain will command a Gulfstream G650ER for a client operation based at Addison, TX. This position requires the individual to hold pilot-in-command responsibility for the safe and lawful operation of the aircraft, conducting business aviation trips for the operator's clients. Upholding Solairus Aviation's culture of safety, service, and integrity is paramount. The role operates on an on-call basis and mandates annual ICAO International procedures training. A primary residence within a two-hour drive of KADS is preferred, or a willingness to relocate.
Duties and Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650ER, conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner.

Review the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to each flight.

Perform thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.

Conduct comprehensive checks of weather and facilities along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.

Ensure all flights are conducted in strict adherence to Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

Maintain the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.

Accurately complete all required trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
Requirements

Minimum flight experience of 3,000 hours total time.

Minimum 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).

Minimum 1,500 hours of multi-engine land (MEL) experience.

Minimum 500 hours of MEL PIC time.

Minimum 500 hours of turbojet flight time.

Minimum 250 hours of instrument flight time.

Must possess a current First Class medical certificate.

Must hold a valid type rating on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft.

Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
