Position Overview

Solairus Aviation invites highly qualified and experienced aviation professionals to apply for the position of Full-Time Gulfstream G650 Captain. Based at the KBED airport in Bedford, MA, this pivotal role requires an exceptional individual committed to the highest standards of safety, service, and integrity. The Gulfstream G650 Captain will be a key member of a hardworking flight team, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G650 aircraft. Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this esteemed Gulfstream G650 Captain position include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the paramount safe operation of the Gulfstream G650 aircraft.
• Conducting all flights in a prudent and secure manner, encompassing comprehensive pre-flight preparations.
• Meticulously reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status to confirm airworthiness.
• Performing thorough pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting a complete and exhaustive check of weather conditions and facilities along the intended route, including primary and alternate airports.
• Guaranteeing that all flights are executed in full compliance with Solairus Aviation's established policies and procedures, as well as all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Upholding the paramount safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members at all times.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required trip paperwork in accordance with current operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements for this private jet pilot role:

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbojet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Certifications & Skills

In addition to the flight hour requirements, applicants must possess:

• A current Type Rating on the Gulfstream G650 aircraft or a comparable business jet.
• A valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• The ability to operate effectively on an on-call basis, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness crucial for a corporate pilot role.
• A commitment to completing annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• A primary residence within a two-hour drive of KBED (Bedford, MA) or a willingness to relocate to the area.
