Key Responsibilities:
- Spearheading talent acquisition strategies for diverse roles across aviation operations, including pilots, maintenance technicians, flight attendants, and administrative professionals.
- Managing comprehensive employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Developing, implementing, and administering competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain high-caliber employees.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, staying abreast of changes, and advising leadership accordingly.
- Overseeing HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS management, and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Championing employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and career progression within the aviation sector.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with significant exposure to the aviation, aerospace, or a similarly complex and regulated industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and HR compliance.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
