Position Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively recruiting for a dedicated and accomplished Full-Time Gulfstream G650ER Captain to join a commutable operation based at KAUS (Austin-Bergstrom International Airport). Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Gulfstream G650ER Captain is entrusted with the paramount responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering strictly to established protocols and regulations. Essential duties encompass:

• Thoroughly reviewing the current maintenance status of the Gulfstream G650ER aircraft.
• Executing a comprehensive pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting a detailed assessment of weather conditions and airport facilities along the planned flight path, including designated alternate airports.
• Ensuring all flight operations are conducted in strict compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Prioritizing and safeguarding the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
• Accurately completing all required trip documentation in accordance with established procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following flight experience requirements:

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type-rating on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft is essential.
• Possession of a current First-Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis is required.
• Successful completion of ICAO International procedures training annually is necessary.
• The candidate must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour flight radius of Austin, Texas (AUS), or demonstrate a willingness to relocate.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation offers competitive compensation commensurate with industry standards. Salary ranges are determined based on various factors, including geographic location, candidate experience, aircraft type, specific job duties, ongoing training, and the assigned client account. Crewmembers can expect compensation between $50,000 and $500,000 annually.
