Position Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and accomplished Full-Time Gulfstream G650ER Captain to join an operation based at KPIT airport. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensuring the safe and proficient operation of the Gulfstream G650ER aircraft.
  • Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to, but not limited to, the following protocols:
    • Thorough review of the aircraft's maintenance status.
    • Execution of a comprehensive pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
    • Meticulous assessment of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route, including designated alternate airports.
    • Confirmation that all flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
    • Prioritizing and ensuring the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
    • Accurate and timely completion of all required trip documentation per established procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Current type rating for the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft.
  • Possession of a first-class medical certificate.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Annual completion of ICAO International Procedures training.
  • Primary residence situated within a two-hour drive of a major commercial airport.

Compensation for Solairus crewmembers typically ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, influenced by factors such as geographic location, candidate experience, aircraft type, specific job duties, training, and assigned client accounts.
