Essential Responsibilities/Duties

The Gulfstream G650ER Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft. This includes conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with, but not limited to, the following:

Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
Conducting a proper pre-flight inspection according to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Completing a thorough check of weather and facilities along the route of flight, including intended and alternate airports.
Ensuring the flight is conducted in compliance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Ensuring the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
Accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum flight hour requirements:

Total time: 3000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
Instrument: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications/Certifications

Must hold a type rating on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft.
A valid First Class Medical certificate is required.
Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
Must maintain a primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KPIT or be willing to relocate.

Compensation

Solairus collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Solairus crewmembers' compensation ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, influenced by factors such as geographic area, experience level, equipment type/aircraft, specific job duties, training, and the assigned account.
