Solairus Aviation seeks a Full-Time Gulfstream G650 Captain to join its operation based at the Waterbury-Oxford Airport (KOXC) in Oxford, Connecticut. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650 aircraft. Duties include conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, which involves:

  • Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
  • Performing a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Completing thorough checks of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route and at intended airports, including alternates.
  • Ensuring flights adhere to Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Maintaining the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following minimum flight experience:

  • Total time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • MEL PIC: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Type rating on Gulfstream G650 or a comparable aircraft is required.
  • A current First Class Medical certificate is mandatory.
  • The ability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
  • Must be able to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
  • Primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of KOXC, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.

Salary Information

Based on market conditions and factors including geographic area, experience level, aircraft type, specific job duties, required training, and the assigned account, Solairus crewmembers can expect a salary range of $50,000 to $500,000.
