This position is for a Gulfstream 650 aircraft based in Columbus, OH (KCMH). The account is supported by a dedicated three-pilot crew, a Maintenance Technician, and a Cabin Attendant, operating under Part 91 regulations. The aircraft typically flies approximately 275 hours annually with a known schedule. Executive Jet Management seeks well-qualified candidates who are typed and experienced in the G650 and reside within a two-hour radius of Columbus, OH.
The Pilot in Command holds the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The PIC is expected to comply with all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience to clients.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safe operation of flight by verifying crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completing flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment.
- Utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with company personnel as required. Acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
- Completing all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including assessing maintenance status, to ensure the aircraft is mission capable. Recording all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitoring and ensuring all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are accomplished in accordance with SOPs.
- Completing passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation. Delivering the highest level of customer service and meeting the special needs of passengers.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivering an exceptional service experience by providing quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities for enhancement, investigating, and resolving service deviations.
- Collaborating with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to provide a consistent service experience. Resolving conflict and challenges effectively.
- Maintaining proficiency and compliance by completing regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience requirements.
- Complying with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- Must hold an FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet (Gulfstream 650).
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
